Wearingeul Wooden Ink & Pen Rest
More stock due mid-August. Pre-order now!
Ink bottles are lovely right up until they're nearly empty, and then you're tilting them at increasingly undignified angles just to get your nib wet. This little stand solves that problem before it starts. Designed specifically to cradle Wearingeul's 30ml ink bottles, it holds them at a permanent 15-degree tilt. So even when you're down to the last few millimetres of ink, you can dip in properly without any fumbling.
There's an integrated rest built in too, so your pen has somewhere sensible to sit between dips rather than rolling off the desk (we've all been there). And the whole thing is made from natural beechwood with a dark oil finish, which means yours will have its own slightly different grain and tone to the next one (we'd call that a feature, not a fault). Non-slip pads on the base keep it firmly put, which matters more than you'd think once you're leaning a glass bottle into it.
It's a simple bit of kit, but it's the sort of simple that makes you wonder why you didn't have one sooner.
